Second Nature is one of the Southside of Glasgow’s most well known salons – in fact it’s been here in one guise or another since the mid eighties!

We are absolutely passionate about the world of beauty and delivering the very best of treatments. To us, this is more than just a job – we really do care about how you look and feel - as our clients who return to us again and again will tell you.

Second Nature has been in the loving care of Lynne and her team since 2005 and since that point we have had a clear vision in place – deliver high quality treatments; stay one step ahead of the ever changing beauty industry to bring our clients the very best of what’s new and current, as well as the tried and tested; and offer exceptional customer service. We believe that this is the recipe that makes our salon that bit different.

We are very proud of the treatments that we offer at Second Nature, particularly our recently launched skincare range, Live Native. Live Native produce some of the cleanest, purest and more nutritious range of therapeutic skincare products available today. Handmade on the Isle of Skye this truly unique and beautifully fragrant range combines the finest tropical oils, active minerals and living botanicals to create a treatment that is really something special. We also are delighted to offer both a range of bath care and beauty products from Perthshire company 'It's only Natural' as well as a fabulous organic facial featuring products from this lovely, organic company, especially produced for us here at Second Nature.

When it comes to hands and feet it's Mavala, the Swiss company that are internationally renowned for their on trend nail colours and treatments. Mavala produce a limited edition collection of colours every season, so there is definitely a colour for every occasion! If you are looking for slightly longer lasting polish we also offer Shellac, the hybrid polish/gel that has taken the beauty world by storm.

Fake Bake delivers the number one tan of choice for those in the know -  no orange we promise! We are also thrilled to have on board Lily Lolo Mineral cosmetics - a fabulous British mineral makeup brand that delivers both on quality and value.

We also like to keep the planet looking beautiful too - 98% of the waste that we generate from the salon is recycled, we use low energy lightbulbs, and, it goes without saying that none of the products we use are tested on animals.

We run Offers of the Month – they are a great way to try a treatment that perhaps you haven’t tried before.

Gift vouchers are available for all treatment. These are valid for 6 months. Gift Vouchers are not transferable and there are no refunds. Out of date gift vouchers will not be accepted. 24 hours notice of cancellation is required and a 50% charge will be incurred. Please arrive 10 minutes before appointment time to allow for consultation. Unfortunately a late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or an alternative treatment being offered.
